About the National Leadership Conference

The National Leadership Conference is an intensive program of leadership training. Perfectly suited for both the novice and the expert, attendees cover a full spectrum of training and orientation to address both personal and professional leadership. By networking established leaders with developing leaders it is possible to hone the skills of all involved while providing a forum for continuous advancement and development.

Vision
The National Leadership Conference will contribute to the development of MAES members into world-class leaders in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics and within the community.

Mission
The National Leadership Conference will offer hands-on leadership training that prepares attendees for personal
and professional advancement.

Objectives
1. To create a leadership training curriculum that develops skill sets which are applicable and transferable to the
professional workplace.

2. To promote and enhance communication and interaction among members, supporters, and directors of MAES.

3. To foster an environment that supports the open exchange of ideas, perspectives, best practices, and information.

4. To inform, orient, and train student and professional officers to successfully operate and manage their respective chapters.
